You can apply for UGC NET 2021 online at the official website or on this page. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the online registration process for the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) in June 2021, which had been closed previously (NTA). 

All eligible students have till September 5 to apply for the UGC NET 2021. Applicants can register and submit their application forms on the NTA website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in (which must be complete in all aspects).

2021 UGC NET Application Form

As of August 10, 2021, the application process for the UGC NET 2021 has been reopened. A date has been chosen for the examination. The National Testing Agency will conduct the UGC NET, a national-level admission exam (NTA). The UGC NET test will determine eligibility for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Assistant Professor posts, as well as Assistant Professor positions alone.

Syllabus

The UGC NET Syllabus is available in its full on the website for students. If students so desire, they will be able to obtain a comprehensive curriculum for their selected courses via the internet. The first paper of the UGC NET will be of a general nature, aimed to assess the candidate’s research aptitude and teaching ability.

Paper 2 will be written in accordance with the applicant’s chosen core topics or areas of expertise. Paper 2 of the test covers a total of 84 specialist subjects.

Exam Pattern for UGC NET 2021

  • The test will consist of two papers. On both tests, the questions will be of the objective type, multiple choice variety. This semester, there will be no breaks between papers.
  • In the Question Paper, only English and Hindi will be utilized as teaching languages.
  • Each question is worth a total of 02 (two) points.
  • Giving an incorrect answer does not result in a deduction of points.

Important dates for the UGC NET 2021

  • Until September 5, you can register and submit your application form online.
  • The deadline for successfully completing an examination fee transaction is September 6.
  • The following corrections must be made to the application form’s specifics: From the 7th until the 12th of September
